Lead Intent Scoring
A Google pilot announced alongside Journey-Aware Bidding in September 2026, classifying each inbound lead as High, Medium or Low intent from behaviour at submission plus your historical CRM patterns.
Why it matters
Google describes it as a sales tool for routing rather than a bidding input, so it does not feed optimisation. That distinction is worth holding before a team reorganises around it.
What goes wrong
Once the tier lands on the lead in your CRM it becomes a column like any other, and it can be tested like any other: does High actually close more often than Low in your history, and by how much? A tier carrying real lift earns a place in your values. One that does not should be refused with a reason, which is worth knowing before it starts directing a sales team.

Measure this on your own data
The diagnostic reads a CRM export in your browser and reports your volume, your match rate and the spread between your leads against the thresholds in this glossary. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
