Deleting what your Meta login gave us

When you connect Meta by logging in, Meta gives us an access token for the Dataset you choose. We store that token encrypted, with the id of the Dataset and the id of the Meta user who granted it. That is the whole of it: no profile, no friends, no ad account data beyond the list of Datasets the token can see, which is read at the moment you choose one and not kept.

If you connected by pasting a Dataset id and a system user token instead, no login took place and nothing is tied to a Meta user. The token is still stored encrypted and is deleted the same way.

• From Meta. In Facebook, open Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find ValueBasedBidding and remove it. Meta then sends us a deletion request and we remove the connection under your login. Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link to this page.
• From us. Email alon@bettersignals.co from the address on your workspace and ask for the Meta connection to be removed. It is done within a few days, and you get a reply when it is.

The token and the Dataset id are removed, so nothing further can be sent to your Dataset from here. Values already sent live in your Dataset in Meta's Events Manager and are deleted there, under Meta's own tools. Your workspace, its saved model and its record of what was sent belong to your business and stay until you ask for the workspace itself to be closed, which the same email address does.
